DUTY REFEREE REQUIREMENTS:

Duty referees are required to officiate games to ensure the operation of the competition. Each team must provide duty referees to fulfil their refereeing duty requirements when rostered. Teams will be allocated games they need to provide referees for. It is each team’s responsibility to ensure they are aware of their duty refereeing requirements and the duty roster. Failure to supply a duty referee for an allocated game time will result in the loss of 3 competition points. Failure to supply a duty referee on 3 occasions may result in the team being removed from the competition. Duty referees are required to report to the Admin / Canteen area 5 minutes prior to the start of the game.

All duty referees are required to supply their own whistle.

All duty referees are to wear a white shirt or singlet.

Duty referees are to report to the Admin / Canteen area prior to game time to receive their game allocation.

The duty referee is to collect the following items from the Admin / Canteen area to take to the field:

• Game Ball
• Score Sheet / Team Sheet / Pen

The score sheet is to be completed by one (1) referee and the team managers / captains.

At the end of the game the referee is to return al items to the Admin / Canteen area.
